Every Sunday morning (when we're not operating trains) there is a working bee at our grounds. This is where we undertake the maintanence required to keep everything running smoothly.
The tasks range from simple jobs like mowing lawns and raking leaves to full blown civil engineering, like the new cutting wall in the picture to the right. All of our rollingstock is maintained on site, using our extensive workshop facilities. This can be a great way to learn new skills, with many experts on hand.
We are just starting a long term project to re-lay the foundations of our elevated track to improve the ride quality and passenger safety . Many hands make light work, so come on down and help make your club the best it can be.
Working bees generally have a morning tea provided, and occasionally include a complimentary BBQ lunch.
