Over recent years there has been a growing interest in small steam and electric locomotives running on 32mm or 45mm track. Many of these items are commercially available, providing a good way for participation from those people without the time or resources to build their own.
We have three independant loops of track in our garden gauge area, providing a mix of scenic areas, and practical working space for steaming up and maintaining locomotives.
On a public run day, members operate live steam and electric locomotives on the inner loops, and children are able to drive a remote-controlled locomotive on the outer loop.
