Our extensive ground level track provides realistic train operations to our members and visitors, consisting of two and a half loops of intertwined trackwork complete with points, crossovers and bridges.
We also have a large yard which we use to marshal trains on running days, and for shunting games on our club runs. This yard also features a large roundhouse containing our ground level passengar wagons, and an adjacent steaming bay for maintenance of locomotives once they are running.
The points and signals can be controlled locally, or centrally from the signal box. As can be seen from the photo to the left, this signal box commands an excellent view of the major junctions on the line.
