This was SLSV's first track, and was originally portable (being made up in short sections that bolt together). It has four rails, meaning it provides 1.25", 2.5", 3.5", and 5" gauges.
Its role today is to provide a quiet running location for smaller locomotives, and a safe location for basic driver tuition. On public run days, a small electric tram provides rides for children that might be too young (or too afraid) of the larger trains and tracks. No longer portable, it is now attached to a concrete base similar to our larger elevated track.
